Following four years of dedicated service in the United States Marine Corps, I returned to college to complete my lacrosse career. Upon exhausting my eligibility, I graduated with a degree in history, yet found myself lacking direction and motivation. This led me to discover my true calling in coaching and leadership, inspiring me to embark on a career in teaching. I spent valuable years educating in Baltimore City and Howard County, Maryland. My journey then took a pivotal turn towards assisting veterans in becoming homeowners, a passion ignited by my own challenging experience with a lender who cost me thousands of dollars due to inadequate explanations and guidance. My professional path has seen me work with major financial institutions like Bank of America, Capital One, and PNC, as well as smaller mortgage firms. I have developed a preference for the agility and responsiveness of smaller lenders, finding the pace of change in larger organizations comparably sluggish.

I grew up in Ellicott City Maryland, attending Mount Hebron High school and I currently live in Sykesville, Maryland with my wife Leanne and 2 rescue dogs Gertie and Frank.  We have two children Gavin and Alaina who both are currently in school pursuing there bachelors degrees.
